1. Overview

Airconworld strives to ensure that you are satisfied with your purchase. If you are not completely satisfied, you may return eligible products for repair, replacement, or refund, subject to the terms below and our Terms and Conditions.

This policy applies in addition to your rights under the Consumer Protection Act (CPA).


2. Standard Returns (Unwanted Products)

You may return a product if:

  • The product is unused, unopened, and undamaged
  • It is in its original packaging, with all labels, seals, and accessories intact
  • The product has not been installed
  • You submit a return request in writing within 7 (seven) days of delivery or collection

Return Costs

  • A reasonable administration/handling fee may apply
  • Courier/collection costs are for the Customer’s account

(Note: fixed penalties softened to remain CPA-compliant)


3. Returns Outside 7 Days

Returns requested after 7 days may be considered at Airconworld’s discretion.

If accepted, the following may apply:

  • A reasonable handling/restocking fee (up to 10%)
  • Administration fees
  • Courier/transport costs

Airconworld reserves the right to decline returns that:

  • Are requested after a reasonable period
  • Show signs of use, installation, or damage
  • Do not meet the conditions outlined above

4. Defective or Incorrect Products

If a product is defective, damaged on delivery, or incorrect:

  • You must notify Airconworld within a reasonable time
  • The product will be inspected
  • If confirmed, Airconworld will repair, replace, or refund the product in line with the CPA

Airconworld will cover reasonable return costs in these cases.


5. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return, unless defective:

  • Installed products
  • Special-order or customised items
  • Spare parts (unless defective)

6. Installation-Related Charges

  • If installation is cancelled after technicians have arrived on-site, a call-out fee may apply
  • Removal of existing air conditioners or equipment is the Customer’s responsibility, unless otherwise agreed
  • Airconworld may provide removal services at standard rates, if requested

7. Refunds

  • Refunds will be processed only after returned goods are received and inspected
  • Refunds will be made using the original payment method
  • Processing time: 7–14 working days (subject to banking timelines)

8. Return Process

To ensure a smooth return:

  • Submit your return request in writing
  • Clearly mark your return reference number on the parcel
  • Include all accessories and components
  • Package the product securely to prevent damage in transit

Failure to meet these requirements may result in delays or refusal of the return.


9. Important Notes

  • This policy does not limit your rights under the Consumer Protection Act
  • Any fees charged will be reasonable and proportionate to actual costs incurred
  • Airconworld reserves the right to assess all returns before approval
